Yoga Club is holding a special Valentine’s Day class this Wed. Feb. 10th. Never practiced yoga before? No worries! This is a great chance to try it out. Celebrate Valentine’s Day by showing yourself some self-care and enjoy treats afterwards.
Auditions for our 2016 Group Interpretation, “Nancy Drew and the Mystery of the Somerset Loop,” will be held Thursday, February 11th, at 4:00pm in Room 270. Group Interpretation is an IHSA competitive activity in which 8-12 students creatively interpret a text. If you’re interested in improving your acting or public speaking, come out to auditions! No experience or preparation is required. Contact Ms. Larkin in English with questions.
Cosmetology Club will be meeting after school on Thursday, February 18th in room 160 to learn and practice eye make-up techniques. Bring your favorite eye shadow, eye liner and mascara and let’s try something new!

Please wear ORANGE on Wednesday, February 10th to promote awareness of teenage dating violence and to offer support to those who have been in a physically or emotionally abusive relationship. Don’t own anything orange? Equality club will be handing out ribbons at the main entrances as well – feel free to take one!
Come by the social studies hallway and check out our poster representing what a healthy relationship is, presented by Equality Club in honor of Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. It’ll say “Love is…” at the top and you’ll have the opportunity to stick a note saying what you think healthy love should be!
Please join us this Thursday, February 11th in the Altergott Auditorium for this years’ Golden Age Prom Fashion Show. The fashion show will take place the 2nd half of each lunch period. The show will feature dresses from Prombay, David’s Bridal, Windsor, and Agaci and suits from Men’s Wearhouse. Hope to see you there!
