Come and see the ZANIE, hilarious St. Luke’s Bottle Band in Concert on Saturday, March 7, at 7:00 PM in the Altergott Auditorium. Seen on David Letterman and America’s Got Talent, the Bottle Band has a creative take on classical, standard and pop music using only bottles filled with water. The concert will feature our very own Mrs. Kyle Cartwright as a vocalist and player in the Band, and choir director Steve Sivak playing Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue especially written for this Palatine High School event. Tickets are $7 for Students and $12 for adults and may be purchased in the main office beginning Monday. You DON’T want to miss this spectacular event!

Pi Week is fast approaching! The math department is holding a poster contest for who can decorate the best Pi themed math poster. The posters will be on display from March 9th-13th. Turn in your poster to your math teacher by March 6th to enter the contest! Ask your teacher for extra credit.

Girls Badminton Tryouts will be held 3:30-6:00 on March 2 and 3rd. Please meet in the East Gym Hallway. Please make sure you are registered on the Athletics website and have a current physical on file with the nurse. If you are planning to attend the Turnabout Dance this Saturday night, please remember to buy your tickets today or tomorrow during school. They are $10 per ticket until 3:30pm Friday. After that, you will have to buy them at the door for $15 per ticket. We hope to see you all there for our black light, glow-in-the-dark dance party!

Students interested in careers in Psychology, Psychiatry, Social Work or Art/Music Therapy, sign up in Student Services for the March 4th career trek hosted by Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital.
There will be a College Planning Night event for all junior students and parents on Tuesday, March 3rd @ 7pm in the Auditorium. There will be 2 college representatives speaking about the college process and answering questions. All junior parents received an email to register for the event.
