    Foreign Exchange Club

    Junior Class

    Are you a junior?  Do you need a new t-shirt? If so, please see the cashier, Mrs. Wolter, and fill out an order form.  The cost is $15 and the last day to place your order is Friday, November 11th.

    Drama Club

    If you’re interested in working behind the scenes of our winter musical, The Addams Family, we as much help as we can get! We have crews for: set-building, lights, sounds, props, costumes, hair & make-up…join us after school Thursday, November 3rd in Room 216 at Drama Club to learn more!

    Aquarium Club

    Aquarium Club will not be meeting Monday’s, October 31st. 3:30-4:30 in the Science Office


    This month, Face is partnering with NHI (National Hispanic Institute) to sponsor a Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) art and writing contest. Entries will be put on display in the 2nd floor showcases. Deadline: Monday, Oct. 31. Submit entries to the Face Submissions Link on the PHS home page, under the News section. Buena suerte (good luck)!

    Girls Basketball

    Anyone interested in playing Girls Basketball this season needs to be at a meeting On Wednesday October 26 at 3:31pm in room 216.  You only need to attend at one of those times.  Tryouts begin October 31 at 3:45pm.  Make sure your physical is up to date prior to trying out.

    Equality Club

    Equality Club’s next meeting is October 31st at 7:40 am in room 271! Don’t forget to bring in items for our Wings drive such as Vaseline, women’s conditioner and body wash, laundry detergent, cereal, and hamburger helper! We hope to see you there!


    SADD’s annual winter clothing drive to benefit the Palatine Community closet will begin on Monday October 24th and go through November 18th. Collection boxes will be at entrance 1 & 2. We are looking for gently used warm clothing, coats, hats, gloves and scarves as well as NEW socks and underwear.

    Senior Class

    Attention all seniors!  On Friday, November 4 at 7:45 AM in the main gym, the annual senior portrait will be taken.  Be a part of PHS history and join the Class of 2017 for this picture.  Pictures will be available to purchase for $25.  If you would like to purchase the portrait, stop by the main office to pick up an order form.

    Career Trek

    Students interested in careers in theater production or performing arts, sign up in Student Services for the November 10th career trek to Marriott Lincolnshire’s Theater. We will see a tech rehearsal of “The Nutcracker” and hear a panel presentation from actors, directors, sound & lighting, and costume design.

    Winter Musical

    Auditions for our Winter Musical, “The Addams Family,” are coming up quickly! Be prepared to sing, dance, and act Monday, October 24th, Tuesday, October 25th, and Wednesday, October 26th. You must attend all three audition days in order to be considered for any role. Mr. Koehlinger will host a vocal workshop on Friday, October 21st to review audition pieces, and although attendance is optional, it is highly recommended. For more information, pick up an audition packet in the choir room, and/or see Ms. Larkin in English.
