    Improv

    Come out and support the palatine Improv troupe this Sunday, April 30th as they perform right along the professional on the stage at the Laugh Out Loud Theater in Schaumburg for the Sunday Triple Play. The all-ages show starts at 7pm. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased from the Laugh Out Loud website or at the door.

    Cutlass

    Do you like to write? Take pictures? Draw? Cutlass is looking for students to sign up for next year’s staff. Go to phscutlass.com and fill out the application form. See Mr. Berleman or Mr. Leathem with any questions.

    Skateboard Club

    Skateboard club will continue to meet every Thursday in room 152. Bring your board. It’s never to late to join.

    Art Show

    Everyone is invited to attend the Spring Senior Art Show reception Thursday, April 27th from 6-7 pm in the 1st floor main entrance hallway here at PHS. Stop in to the auditorium right afterwards for the Moonwaltz film festival at 7pm!

    Say Yes to the Dress at PHS

    Need a dress? For Prom, Homecoming, graduation, Senior Breakfast, a wedding? Say Yes to the Dress at PHS is extending their hours DURING LUNCH HOURS on Thursday, April 27th in the Principal’s conference room. Each dress is $10 with a 2 dress limit. Come see for yourself what we have to offer….BCBG dresses brand new!

    Color Guard

    Are you interested in joining the PHS JV or Varsity Color Guard teams? Come join us for clinics on April 24th and 25th after school- meet outside the girls locker room. Tryouts will be Wednesday April 26th after school. Pick up a tryout packet in the main office.

    Yoga Club

    Yoga Club Members, our last meeting of the year will be on Thursday April 27th afterschool in the preschool room.  See you there!

    Cultural Awareness

    Come to Fiesta del Sol on April 27th from 6:30pm-9pm in the East gym. Tickets are $5 at the door. There are also t-shirts being sold for $10. If you buy a shirt you will get a free ticket to the dance. There are a limited number of shirts, so order ahead to get the size and color you want. Shirts will be sold in the cafe on April 27th. Come have a great time with food, dancing, and fun!

    AP Government Review Sessions

    Attention AP Gov students – AP Exam review sessions will be held this week, Tuesday, April 25 and Thursday April 27 in Room 279. Reviews will take place each day at 7 AM and 3:40 PM. Tuesday we will be taking a practice test and Thursday we will be going over the results. See Hamman, Berleman or Lange with questions!

    Principal’s Advisory Board Meetings

    The next Principal’s Advisory Board meeting for Freshmen and Sophomores is Tuesday, May 9th, 5th period in the Principal’s Conference Room.  Any Freshman or Sophomore interested in attending is welcome. Read more…

    Building Construction

    “Building Construction students have been working very hard building a 2,800sq.ft. four bedroom two story house. The house is located in Lake Zurich and is loaded with amazing features and finishes. We will soon have the house listed for sale, but before that…we figured we would invite a few thousand students and their families to come check it out.  Read more…

    Drama Club/Children’s Play

    PHS is putting on its first ever Children’s Play, Goldilocks: The Im-paws-ible Story, on Saturday, may 6th at 10:30pm. The program is written by PHS Creative Composition students, and designed for an audience of 3-10 year olds. If you know some potential audience members, let them know!

    Pirates, remember to turn in your red tickets to the appropriate lockers for the April/semester drawing.  You could win Prom tickets or a season pass to Great America!
