Foreign Exchange Club
Foreign Exchange Club is meeting will be Tuesday, February 27th, at 7:30am in Room 283. Meetings will now be every other Tuesday morning for the remainder of the semester. Hope to see you there! See Ms. W or Mr. Correa in the World Language Office with questions.
All members of the Girls Gymnastics team, please meet Thursday, February 15th in the main gym after school for a short meeting about the state gymnastics meet. You will receive your worker pass and t-shirt.
THere will be a pre-season girls lacrosse meeting on Tuesday, March 20th at 3:30pm in room 270. If you plan on trying out for lacrosse try to be there. If you can’t be there please find Coach Schock or Coach Flores in the Social STudies office.

Dance-A-Palooza Tryouts will be held on Thursday, March 1st at 7:45 am and 3:30 pm in Room 165. Bring a sample of your music and what you will be performing!

Fiesta del Sol is Friday, March 2nd from 6:30 to 9pm in the East Gym. Tickets for Fiesta del Sol will be on sale for $3 at the cashier all week. Also, consider purchasing a shirt for $7 and get a free ticket to the dance. See you there!

There is a mandatory meeting in the PCR at 7:30am on February 28th for program details. Applications are available in Guidance. Mark your calendars for Thursday, February 22 at 7:00 PM in the main gymnasium for the 5th annual DANCING WITH THE PIRATES competition. Cost to attend will be $5. Tickets will be sold at the door. Come out to see students and staff dancing together.

Palatine’s PROMISE will be hosting Danceapalooza in our cafeteria during all lunch hours on Friday, March 16th. If you are interesting in performing, start preparing your act! We will have more information in announcements soon about how to sign up!
If you are interested in a career in healthcare, sign up in Student Services for the February 23 career trek to Harper College. We will learn about careers in: nursing, radiologic technology, ultrasound technology, dietetics, paramedics, health information management, and more.
A Forensics career trek is scheduled for February 21. If you are interested in learning about a career as a Forensic Scientist or a Forensic Detective, sign up for the trek in Student Services .
